Mary received her Certificate Training in Botanical Art and Illustration from the Morton Arboretum, Lisle, IL, in l996 after studying Biological Illustration at University of Wisconsin in Madison where she had earlier received her B.S. in Horticulture. Mary has had several solo exhibitions and has participated in a number of group shows, including, Portraits of a Garden - Botanical Museum Berlin-Dahlem, Berlin, Germany, on loan from Brooklyn Botanical Garden, Brooklyn, New York, Florilegium Society.  Past shows include The 9th International Exhibition of Botanical Art and Illustration at the Hunt Institute for Botanical Documentation, Carnegie Mellon University, Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, Fine Botanical Paintings at the Gordon-Craig Gallery, May 2000 Exhibition in Knightsbridge, London, UK and many exhibitions in the U.S.  She also teaches botanical drawing and painting at Olbrich Botanical Gardens in Madison, Wisconsin and in Mazomanie, WI.
