Lorinda Bryan

Lorinda Bryan is a freelance illustrator who graduated from the Rhode Island School of Design in 1974. Over the past twenty-five years she has illustrated over fifty children's books, many of which feature detailed drawings of animals. Her evolving interest in gardening and nature has recently inspired her to embrace botanical painting. Lorinda began by painting each flower in her garden. She then moved on to adding local butterflies, insects and birds that inhabit her yard. Studying, observing and painting the nature in her own backyard and beyond have become a new passion for her.
