Bev combines a love of nature with an eye toward the greater essences of life when creating her artwork. In this, she hopes to convey something of the quiet “soul” of a plant through the recording of subtle nuances of form, texture and fine detail. She is a member of the Pacific Northwest Botanical Artist’s group and has taken drawing and painting courses through the Seattle Academy of Fine Art, under the instruction of Louise Smith and Margaret Davidson. She currently resides in Kenmore, Washington, with her husband, her two sons, a one-eyed dog and a one-eyed cat.
