Lynne Friedman, botanical artist and landscape oil painter received her BS and MFA in Art from Queens College and a Doctor of Education degrees (Ed.D.) from Columbia University, Teachers College. She has received residency grants from the Tyrone Guthrie Center, Ireland), Valparaiso Foundation, Spain; White Colony, Costa Rica; Helene Wurlitzer Foundation, New Mexico; Virginia Center for the Creative Arts; Auvillar program in France sponsoredby VCCA, and the Erpf Center for the Environment. Friedman has had seven solo exhibitions 1992-2007 at Noho Gallery in NYC , a recent solo museum show at the Booth Western Art Museum in Georgia and is in many prominent corporate collections.
