February 19-March 12 Watercolor: Dry Brush Techniques Instructor: Karla Beatty Dry brush is the traditional watercolor method of working with small strokes and limited use of washes. Improve your brush-handling skills and develop increased control with guided exercises. This is a very special trip going more than 200 miles up the "Rio Negro" river to a clear water stream ideal for snorkeling, On our way there we will take several canoe rides through the rivers and flooded forest areas, swim in the tea colored waters of several rivers, take walks through the jungle, visit natives in their huts and small villages, and the village of Novo Airao where you can swim with the pink dolphins and visit the arts and crafts school. This tour is limited to 18 passengers. Air-conditioned cabins with private bathrooms and hot water showers have panoramic windows. Common spaces include covered verandas, spacious living room, sun deck and Jacuzzi, with a full top deck with 360 degree views.
