Mr. Gary Boardman
Operations Coordinator

Mr. Boardman joined the Institute in April 2002. He provides operational support for the day-to-day business activities of the Institute. This includes the control and maintenance of our mailroom and storage areas. In addition he is responsible for preparing setups for meetings and special events and assists with exhibition installation.

In addition to his duties as Operations Coordinator, Gary has made himself integral to the Archives Department. He is chiefly responsible for both preservation and access digitization of the portraits in our 30,000-item portrait collection, moving the Archives' databases and access to its services forward with increased efficiency. He also maintains the overall metadata regarding his preservation digitizations. Gary has also been a key player in our Institute-wide project to digitize our holdings.
