Jeannette McDevitt
Assistant Librarian

Ms. McDevitt assists the librarian with the many tasks involved in running the Library, including cataloging, serials control, preservation, collection records, stack maintenance and helping Library users and guests. She earned a B.A. in English from Gettysburg College and a master’s degree in Library and Information Science with a concentration in library preservation from the University of Pittsburgh. While working on her master’s degree, she completed a field placement at Hunt Institute and now is happy to be an official part of the staff.

In her spare time Ms. McDevitt enjoys spending time with family and friends, watching movies, participating in outdoor activities, reading and caring for books, playing the piano and traveling.
