A collection of mostly ink drawings accumulated by the U.S. Forest Service, containing many originals for US Forest Service Bulletins, Common trees of Puerto Rico and the Virgin Islands, and Alaska trees and shrubs. For additional information see: huntbot.andrew.cmu.edu/HIBD/HI-USDA.html
Of the 2830 artworks, 2308 have been scanned. The remaining (larger) drawings will be made available as they are photographed and scanned. The images from this collection are available to scientists, researchers and publishers for reproduction at no charge.
